Frequently Asked Photo Booth Questions
Can we customize a logo on the prints? Yes, we will customize provide a graphic for you, for FREE, which can include names, dates, logos, custom colors, etc, on the photo booth prints. You will also receive a proof to review and approve. We will email you an online questionnaire form to provide information for the design.
How much space is required? We suggest an area of at least 10' Deep x 10' Wide with additional space for the line to form.
Where do you typically set up the photo booth? We generally setup in the main reception area, foyer, or main entrance wherever there is enough space. The photo booth itself is not too large. There is usually a line of people eager to jump in the photo booth. We recommend at least 10' deep x10' wide area.
Are the photo strips print black and white, sepia or colored? Your guests can choose. Every time they enter the booth your guests will have the option to choose between colored, black and white or sepia photos or you can let us know if you want all the photos fixed as one color type.
My event is outdoors. Can I still rent Snapbox Photo Booth? Sure can, we love an outdoor party! There are a few requirements. We do require a flat surface, access to a power outlet and we prefer some type of covering.
When do we receive the pictures? Almost immediately! Upon exiting the photo booth you will wait roughly 15 -20 seconds for your pictures to print from the booth.
How far in advance do I need to book my event? People typically book 6 months to 1 year in an advance. As long, as we have availability we will be more than happy to accommodate everyone.
How does the Photo Scrapbook work? We will have a small area set up next to the photo booth where we will direct your guests to stop by the Photo Scrapbook to leave a copy of their photo strip and write a personal message. We will bring all the supplies needed. Our full time attendant will be there the whole time assisting your guests. You will receive your photo guest book at the close of your event.
Are there additional travel charges? We will include any travel charges on the proposal that we send to you prior to booking.
How many photos can we take during our event? You and your guest can take as many photos as you like. You and your guests will receive unlimited access throughout the event. Our attendant will always be available during the event to make sure everything runs smoothly.
How much do you charge for idle hours? We charge $50 per hour of idle time. Some customers choose to have the photo booth run for a one-hour cocktail hour, or for an earlier set up. Have it idle for an hour during dinner and then have it run for a couple more hours during the reception as well.
Is the setup and tear down time part of my 3-hour event time? No, we will set up and tear down the photo booth around your 3-hour block.
How many people can fit into the photo booth at once? We can host up to 2-3 people comfortably in the photo booth at a time.
Can we add time to our rental on site? Yes, extra hours can be added if your time is up and you would like the fun to continue. Extra hours are $99 dollars each and $60 dollars for an additional half hour.
Can I get the original images? Yes, the original digital files of the event printouts come with each booking. You get the complete CD of all the individual photo booth images, mailed out the following business day.
Does the rental include a photo booth attendant? Yes, a full time attendant will be present during the entire rental period to help your guests operate and enjoy their photo booth experience.
How do I reserve Snapbox Photo Booth for my event? Just fill out the contact form on our website or give us a simple call 256-227-8965 to make sure your date is available. There is a 50% deposit required to reserve your date and the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event. Once we receive your information form you filled out online we will email you a booking proposal to review, sign and make your deposit online. That's it!
